Our Abbot and spiritual Teacher Ven. Kuten lama will kindly offer teachings on The Three Principal aspects of the Path and bestow White Tara Long Life initiation during the weekend retreat. Event: Teachings on The Three Principal aspects of the Path by Je Tsongkhapa Date: Saturday, April 20th. Time: 10 - 5pm White Tara long life initiation (Dolkar Tsewang) The teachings will be on the three essential elements of the path to Enlightenment: Renunciation, Bodhicitta (Compassion) and Buddhist view of Emptiness. Event: White Tara Longlife Initiation and Teaching on Lamrim (Preliminary teaching) Date: Sunday, April 21st. Time: 10am Location: Gaden KhachoeShing Monastery. 2150 East Dolan Road. Bloomington. IN Tara is Buddha in female aspect. She is known for compassion, healings and dispels all obsticles in our spiritual and mundane life. She helps us to prolong our life, so we can contiue our dharma practie for the benefit all the beings. All teachings are offer free of charge. During the weekend, meals and tea are offered too.
