Gaden KhachoeShing monastery presents Taste of Tibet and Open House. (All welcome) Event: Taste of Tibet (6pm) and Open House (2-5pm). Date: Saturday, September 19th at 6pm "Gaden KhachoeShing Monastery is one of the hidden Gem in Hoosier town." A Buddhist monastery built with blend of traditional monastic architectural and western design based on concept of the sustainable development. Monastery has one of the largest collection of Tibetan Thangkas (Paintings) and mesmerizing grand stautes of the Buddhas. One of its kind in the west. All fund raised will be donated to recent Nepal Flood victims. An aunthentic traditional Tibetan Veg-non-Vegetarian delicacies (Buffest style) like momos, Pingsha, Alu Khatsa, famous hot sauce etc and Tibetan butter salt tea prepared by the monks. All the meals are prepared in monastic style. |
